You may easily turn on and off the automatic time and date stamp that is heard at the beginning of each message by accessing your mailbox, pressing 6 for mailbox options, and then pressing 6 again to toggle the automatic time and date message on and off.

If you do turn off the automatic time and date message, you may still listen to the time and date a message was recorded by pressing 00 during playback of a message.
